Balance & Restore: Late-Summer Yoga and Acupuncture Event
Saturday, August 25, 2018 3:00-5:30pm
Join Certified Yoga Teacher Bethany Britton and Licensed Acupuncturist Brittany Phillips of Arrowhead Acupuncture, LLC for a afternoon to balance and restore the physical, mental, and emotional bodies and to further nurture our deepest desires and intentions for the year.
This event will take place at a NEW location. A beautifully restored barn complete with charming bistro lighting nestled in a beautiful farm and country-corn field setting.*
The workshop will begin with a 75 minute, all levels, yoga practice led by Bethany to bring ease and calm to the body and mind. The yoga practice will be of a gentle flowing nature, centered around the breath to awaken and move stagnate energy throughout the body and end with some yummy restorative yoga poses to allow the body to come into stillness. Upon completion of the yoga practice and once you are settled and comfortable, Brittany will administer an acupuncture treatment to maximize the benefits of the practice. The treatment will help the body release what is no longer of service to us in both the physical and mental bodies. The treatment promotes detoxification. Helping to rid and relieve stress, worry, anxiety and tension allowing you to experience a heightened state of calm and relaxation and bring a return of balance within.
Following the workshop, enjoy infused waters and teas as well as healthy food and fare as you sit back and relax in this beautiful setting to reap the rewards and soak in the benefits of this blissful afternoon.
Props will be provided, however, feel free to bring your own blankets and blocks if you wish. Please bring a yoga mat.
Never tried acupuncture before? Do you have questions or want to know what to expect? Please check out Brittany's website to learn more and connect with her for answers at https://www.arrowheadacupuncture.net
We hope you can join us for this late-summer afternoon. Good for the mind, good for the body, and good for the soul.
